I'm using a 2015 5K iMac 4Ghz i7 with 24GB of RAM and the AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4 GB If your work is only going to appear on the web, maybe it's not a big deal Adding to the nasty surprise factor is the fact that the Topaz previews typically do not reveal the artifacts and so one is forced to examine the output much more closely than most people would care to. This would be especially unfortunate if they made their way into a large print. The worst part of the artifacts is that some of them are not blindingly obvious, but once you've seen them you can't unsee them. I can attest to the artifacts in both Sharpen and Denoise, and it is the latter which was the most egregious offender at the time I tried it, but that may have changed since it seems every new release brings new bugs or variants of the old ones. The earlier AI wouldn't download on my system running a nevdia 1050.

I have been pretty happy using DXO prime and then sharpen with topaz AI.the latest version which I got for free. Can't understand why Topaz is still stuck in the past on this issue of using an old format. TIFF is really outdated and creates huge file sizes vs PSD, which is also lossless btw. The issue I do have with Topaz is it forces you to use TIFF as their output. Looking at what you posted, guess I should really consider getting Sharpen AI too. Yeah it's pretty impressive Gofff I do have & use the denoise plug-in and love what it does. I also have read ( no personal experience ) that at times you get artifacts in the resulting images. On a quad-core iMac with 64 BG RAM, Sharpen AI (2.x version) takes 10 minutes to process a single image, and it crashes if I attempt to use the eGPU. Older SW, like Piccure+ (RIP) was excellent and used a fraction of the system resources. On a quad-core iMac with 64 GB RAM, Sharpen AI (2.x version) takes 10 minutes to process a single image, and it crashes if I attempt to use the eGPU. I’m finding that, while the output can often be quite good, their products are becoming more gimmicky.
